Missing Road Signs
Missing road signs can be a big problem. As a matter of fact, someone’s life could depend on it. If a road sign is missing, emergency responders may be delayed when trying to follow directions to a location, so it’s especially important that the County be notified of missing signs. If the missing sign is for a County owned and maintained road, the sign will be ordered and replaced. If the sign is for a private road, the cost is $45 for a sign, $115 if a sign and post are necessary, replacement mounting is included in the cost. To notify us of missing signs please complete the Road Maintenance Request form available at http://www.lumpkincounty.gov/road-maintenance-request-form/ and make sure to include the road name and intersection as well as your contact information. Remember, getting a missing road sign replaced may help save a life!
