Senior Center - Phase 1 Reopening


Effective Monday, June 15th, the Senior Center will be available for use of the fitness equipment.   The equipment has been temporarily moved to the large group exercise room to enable proper social distancing required of gyms.  In addition to the cardio equipment, three new strength based pieces of equipment have been added.

The fitness room will be available by appointment only, Monday thru Friday at 8am, 9am, 2pm and 3pm.  A maximum of 3 people can use the fitness equipment at one time.

Participation in a Wellness Screening that includes a temperature check is mandatory to enter the building.  Face coverings will be required while interacting with staff but are optional when working out.

Cost: $10 per month for unlimited visits or SilverSneakers card used at every visit.

Tai Chi for Health

Tai Chi is a slow and gentle meditative exercise that originated in ancient China. Benefits include improved flexibility, increased muscle strength, improved fitness and improved balance for fall prevention. Chairs will be used in this class to assist with balance as needed. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.
