Mission Statement

Promote and provide, in a comfortable and friendly setting, social, educational, nutritional, recreational and wellness programs that will enrich the lives and overall well-being of older adults throughout the community.

Tai Chi for Health

Tai Chi is a slow and gentle meditative exercise that originated in ancient China. Benefits include improved flexibility, increased muscle strength, improved fitness and improved balance for fall prevention. Chairs will be used in this class to assist with balance as needed. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

  • Angie Elmore is the instructor for this course, she is a certified Tai Chi Instructor. 
  • Classes are held every Monday at 10:30 a.m., free of charge.
