Deputy County Clerk
Lumpkin County is currently accepting applications for Deputy County Clerk. This is a full time, benefitted position that is intended to be a long term growth position.
This position maintains official county records and provides administrative and clerical support to the County Clerk, County Manager, and Board of Commissioners. Additionally, the incumbent maintains all official county records and documents; records and transcribes minutes of BOC meetings (requires working late every other Tuesday), work sessions and other meetings; administers regulations and ordinances; and serves as liaison between the board and the public. Must be skilled in using various forms of computer software such as Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal skills required.
Employment contingent upon passing background check, physical exam, and a post offer drug screening.
