Traffic Control Operation Change – Lloyd Anderson Road
As part of Lumpkin County’s ongoing mission to improve the safety of citizens and visitors that travel our roads, the western end of Lloyd Anderson Road has been made a one way entrance only. Motorists can no longer legally enter Highway 19 N from Lloyd Anderson Road. Public Works Director Larry Reiter said, “Sight distances were not adequate to allow vehicles to safely enter Highway 19 from Lloyd Anderson Road. Motorists may exit at the eastern end of Lloyd Anderson and turn left to reach Highway 19 N or right to exit on McDonald Road.” The change became effective on Monday, August 10, 2015.
