*ATTENTION ALL CONTRACTORS AND PROPERTY OWNERS IN LUMPKIN COUNTY THAT WILL BE APPLYING FOR A BUILDING PERMIT IN 2023*


Lumpkin County Planning Dept. would like to announce enforcements of new building codes that have been issued by the DCA (Dept. of Community Affairs). For a list of code changes, please click on 2023 Building Code Changes. All permits pulled January 1, 2023 or later will be held to these code standards. 

Fillable Applications

If you are not sure if your intended use for your land meets Lumpkin County ordinances, fill out the Land Use Inquiry form to get feedback from the planning department. If you are ready to apply for a land use permit, fill out the Land Use Permit Application. In order to obtain a Business License, you must obtain a Land Use Permit. Land use Permits are valid for a maximum of 6 months. Return all completed applications to ashley.stahl@lumpkincounty.gov.

Land Disturbance Permit Online Application
