To be a part of the nutrition program, you must be 60 years old and to participate in the activities you must be 55 years old.

We only take day trips. We go to places such as:
You can call the senior center at 706-864-2358 and they will take your information for a referral or you can call Legacy Link at 770-538-2650 and ask for help getting Meals on Wheels.
A Care Coordinator will call you and schedule an appointment for a nurse to visit for an assessment for services.
If there is not a waiting list for meals, the time frame is usually within three weeks.
There are two options for meals. For those with many doctors’ appointments, we deliver frozen meals on a designated day, once per week.
All others receive a hot meal, Monday through Friday.
There are special meals for diabetics and those receiving hot meals are served a therapeutic dessert.
